Big Island Photographer: Robert Malovic

Kat and Jason’s intimate Big Island wedding was held at Volcanoes National Park. Initially, they were to be married overlooking a smoldering crater, but the park’s annual rainfall of 240 inches caught up with us that day, so we had to improvise. Instead, Kat and Jason’s wedding took place in the Thurston Lava Tube. Fortunately for us, dozens of other visitors to the lava tube patiently waited while Kat and Jason’s Hawaiian wedding ceremony took place in the narrow footpath.
